This website serves to record the events in the history of 61 Mechanised Battalion Group, during operations as well as during the terms of service, which touched the lives of many young men and forged a bond of brotherhood between them, irrespective of their background, culture or upbringing.

You are invited to tell your story by subscribing to the 61 Mech Veterans Association and submitting you stories and photos to the webmaster. These stories and photos relating to the operations and terms of service will only be accessible to subscribed members of the Veterans Association.
Publication of a book about 61 Mech
The intention is to eventually use these stories and photos to supplement a book or books that will be written on the history and achievements of 61 Mechanised Battalion Group.
