Documentary on the 2010 61 Mech Angolan expedition

Efpe Senekal, an independent film producer who is currently working on a movie about the Border war, produced a short documentary on the 2010 61 Mech Angolan expedition.

14 veterans from 61 Mech, 32 Battalion and the Recces undertook this journey to Namibia and Angola during October last year, and used the opportunity to plant crosses at different venues in remembrance for all of those on both sides who had perished during the battle for the liberation of Namibia.

This documentary will be broadcast on Sunday, 30 January 2011 between 19h00 and 20h00 on Carte Blanche.
