Facilitation of a regular skouerskuur for 61 Mech veterans

The 61 Mech Veterans Association wishes to facilitate regular get to gethers for the veterans in specific areas, and has first introduced the concept of a monthly skouerskuur to the Gauteng area.

The 61 Mech veterans from the Gauteng area , no matter which year they served at 61 Mech, then spend time together from 16h00 on the last Thursday of the month at a suitable venue where they talk , share and network.

We want to introduce the same concept for the 61 Mech veterans residing in the Bloemfontein area , and Reg Walkerley has volunteered to serve as contact person for the other 61 Mech veterans in the Bloemfontein area in order to facilitate these local skouerskure.

Close co-operation with the MOTHS

Many of our 61 Mech veterans are members of the MOTHS, and we encourage our veterans to also become involved with the MOTHS and their honorable aims.

This then also opens the way for the 61 Mech veterans to use the existing facilities of the MOTHS for these regular 61 Mech skouerskure.
