How to subscribe as 61 Mech Veteran or 61 Mech Associate/Supporter on www.61Mech.org.za

1. You must click on the SUBSCRIBE NOW button on the top right corner of the website at www.61Mech.org.za

2. You can join as a 61 MECH SUPPORTER/ASSOCIATE for R200 per year or R1 500 for 10 years, if you never served with 61 Mech but can associate with us and what we do

3. You can join as a 61 MECH VETERAN for R150 per year or R1 000 for 10 years, if you served with 61 Mech or took part in an operation or exercise with 61 Mech. Veterans of Battle Group Juliet in 1978 are also regarded as 61 Mech veterans

4. Choose your option and then click on the red SUBSCRIBE button to take you to the next step

5. Complete the Personal Details,Reference/Accredition and 61 Mech Login details and then click on the red SUBMIT button

6. Your e-mail address, mobile number and Hometown are very important for our purposes to communicate with you

7. The next screen will give you an option to pay by credit card and you must then click on the PAY BY CREDIT CARD NOW button to complete the credit card payment

8. If you wish to make an EFT, you can copy the bank details and do the EFT in your own time.

9. When you make an EFT payment please ensure that you reflect your name as reference and mail proof of payment to admin@61Mech.org.za or fax it to 086 7720 115 so that we can activate your subscription from date of payment

10. Once your membership has been activated, you can enter the member site where you can connect with veterans from your year of service, see declassified military documents and photos and also read stories submitted by veterans about their experiences

11. Please use the facility on the member site to submit your photos and stories of your experiences with 61 Mech
